The 4.01k Race for Financial Fitness started as a unique financial wellness initiative of Chepenik Financial. They realized that April is National Financial Literacy Month and they could use this idea to raise money to support our community and raise money to help support Junior Achievement teach young people proper financial stewards skills. This year’s Orlando race is expected to attract more than 750 people with a goal to raise $500,000 nationally. Over the years, the race has garnered the attention of some major supporters including The Plan Sponsor Council of America, BlackRock Investments and even have Jean Chatzky from NBC’s Today Show as our National Financial Head coach.
