Join in for this family-friendly event to raise money and awareness of Parkinson’s Disease! The Walk for Parkinson is more than just a Walk. It highlights movement as a symbol of hope and progress towards finding a cure. The Walk is used to raise awareness and funds for local community programs, education, wellness and research to find a cure. Whether you take part on a team or join as an individual you will have the opportunity to move with hundreds of others who share in the journey to help beat Parkinson’s! It’s an easy 1 mile walk around Cranes Roost Lake, wheelchair and walker friendly. We will have vendor booths, activities for all ages including face painting and balloon artists for the children, Rock Steady Boxing and Chair Yoga demonstrations.
