Forget everything you know about Tupperware parties because Dixie Longate has a surprise for you. Dixie, a Southern belle from the wrong side of town in Alabama, survived three husbands and is the sometimes-proud mother of three children. She moved her trailer and kids to Los Angeles as part of the conditions of her parole and began selling Tupperware when her parole officer mandated she get a job or go back to prison. Within a year, Dixie was one of the top sellers in the nation. She will be in Orlando for the first time at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts from Tuesday, March 15 through Sunday, March 27. The show contains adult content and is appropriate for ages 16 and up. Show times vary and tickets start at $45. To purchase tickets, visit drphillipscenter.org.
