The one-day conference for women was built around growing and nurturing women leaders. Featuring 25+ speakers, 35+ exhibitors, keynote luncheon and networking reception.
Orlando’s monthly music showcase Southern Fried Sunday teamed up with The Sh-Booms, area event promoters of The Grand Collab, Smashington, Quality Control, and a diverse array of talent representing the musical soul of Orlando, as well as a few touring acts with a desire to help our city at this time to present Soul Fried Sunday. Together they are presenting an afternoon and night of music, 30 acts on 5 stages at Will’s Pub and St. Matthew’s Tavern, with the intention of assisting those in recovery from the Pulse nightclub tragedy. Money raised from this Mills 50 District sponsored event is being donated to a fund for long term mental health counseling for Pulse survivors, staff and victims’ families established by The GLBT Community Center of Central Florida in conjunction with Dr. David Baker-Hargrove President/CEO of Two Spirit Health Services. The event will begin at 3pm and will be hosted at multiple locations including Will’s Pub, 1040 N. Mills Ave.; Lil Indies, 1036 N. Mills Ave. and St. Matthew’s Tavern 1300 N.
