For a week in March, dozens of world-class plein air artists will take over Wekiva Island, setting up shop in canoes, at the bar, along the boardwalk and beyond to paint scenes of the Wekiva River for a good cause. The Wekiva Paint Out is back from March 1-7, 2020. Attendees are invited to watch the artists work and tour the gallery at Wekiva Island from March 2-7. Admission is free. They can also take their favorite work home with them at an auction on March 4 or try their own artistic hand and compete in the Quick Draw on March 7. The week ends with an all-inclusive gala on March 7. Proceeds from the pieces sold during the week benefit the Wekiva Wilderness Trust and Keep Seminole Beautiful.
