Foodies rejoice as Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month kicks off its 14th year, August 23 – September 30. It’s your chance to enjoy three-course, prix-fixe dinners at more than 120 of Orlando’s best restaurants for just $35 per person.
“Now in its 14th year, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining has reached an unprecedented number of restaurants with more than 120 and 11 new to the program,” said Visit Orlando President and CEO George Aguel. “The expanding depth of options for diners this fall reflects Orlando’s thriving culinary scene found in all areas of our destination, from the tourism corridor and Restaurant Row to downtown Orlando, Winter Park and beyond.”
Every year, $1 from every meal served during Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining benefits one or more local nonprofits. In 2019, the program will benefit two local nonprofits: the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Greater Orlando and Lighthouse Central Florida.
NAMI Greater Orlando is a grassroots support network for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions. Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining will benefit the organization’s “Ending the Silence” program, which helps raise awareness and change perceptions among teenagers about mental health and suicide prevention..
Lighthouse Central Florida helps individuals with vision loss adjust to their reality with confidence. Proceeds from Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining will enable Lighthouse to expand its early intervention programs for children so they can adapt, integrate and enjoy active, productive lives.
